Description
The State of Delaware, through DNREC, is seeking qualified contractors to repair steel sheet‑pile bulkheads and guide piles at Indian River Marina, apply a new protective coating above the waterline, and install passive cathodic protection systems. The work includes optional alternates for coating and sleeving guide piles, installing bulkhead and pipe‑pile anodes, and related marine‑construction activities. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre‑bid meeting, submit a 10 % bid security, and provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price. The project is expected to start in December 2026, with the bulkhead phase in early 2027 and the piling alternate completed by May 20 2027.
