Construction Manager at Risk for Public Utilities

The County of Sarasota is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for various public utility projects. The selected CMAR will provide services on an as-needed basis, and the contract term is expected to be 5 years. The scope of work includes pre-construction and construction phase services for projects such as water main installations, wastewater force main installations, gravity sewer installations, and treatment plant rehabilitation. The CMAR will be responsible for overseeing the project, ensuring compliance with design requirements and permitting, and managing subcontractors and suppliers. • The CMAR must be a Certified General Contractor (CGC) or an Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor (UUC) licensed in the State of Florida. • The CMAR must demonstrate experience providing CMAR services for utility projects. • The CMAR must have successfully completed at least three public utility projects in the past seven years. • The CMAR will be evaluated based on their qualifications, experience, and proposal.
