Description
The County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department, is seeking bids for the purchase of a 7-passenger plug-in hybrid ADA side entry wheelchair minivan. The vehicle must meet specific requirements, including a 3.6L transverse engine, 6-cylinders, hybrid, 24-valve, variable valve timing, dual overhead cam, and a minimum of 248 horsepower. The vehicle must also have a BraunAbility (or Approved Equal) Commercial Infloor Simple Stow System, a lowered floor from toepan to rear axle, and a 30” wide manual infloor ramp. The successful bidder will be required to provide a vehicle that meets all the specifications outlined in the bid document.
