RFP: 53-26 Mobile Device Deployment Services

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a fully managed staff augmentation solution to support the accelerated deployment of iPads for approximately 3,750 frontline Operations employees. The deployment is scheduled to occur between May 2026 and November 2026 and will require a dedicated project manager and a team of up to seven mobile device specialists. The contractor will be responsible for managing distribution, tracking, and handoff of devices to employees during each session. The contractor must also ensure all staff are prepared to execute deployments in accordance with MBTA procedures and training protocols. Key responsibilities include: • Providing a dedicated project manager and a team of up to seven mobile device specialists • Managing distribution, tracking, and handoff of devices to employees during each session • Ensuring all staff are prepared to execute deployments in accordance with MBTA procedures and training protocols • Providing onsite mobile device specialists and a dedicated project manager • Supporting up to three training classes per day, with approximately forty employees per day, across multiple shifts
