Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a supplier to provide maintenance and support for the eGap system, which is used by local education agencies (LEAs) to access federal formula and competitive applications, comprehensive improvement planning tools, professional development tools, and fund requests. The system must be web-based and vendor-hosted, and the supplier must provide annual and regular ongoing maintenance and support to ensure continuous distribution of federal funds. The system should include features such as email notifications, application status tracking, online submissions and approval, and real-time compliance data to local, state, and federal agencies. The contract will be for a period of one year, from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
• The supplier must provide a means for LEAs to submit grant applications, develop plans, track professional development, request funding, and provide expenditure data over the internet.
• The supplier must ensure that the system is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
• The supplier must provide training and support to LEAs on the use of the system.
• The supplier must ensure that the system is secure and protected against unauthorized access.
• The supplier must provide regular updates and maintenance to the system to ensure that it remains functional and efficient.
