1ST AVENUE WATER LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The City of Delano is seeking bids for the 1st Avenue Water Line Replacement Project. The project involves replacing an existing water line in 1st Avenue, including a jack and bore cased crossing beneath Highway 99, 12-inch PVC and restrained joint Ductile Iron pipe, isolation valves, fire hydrants, water service lines, a pressure reducing station, and connections to the existing system. The estimated project cost range is $1,700,000 to $2,000,000. The project is expected to be substantially completed within 120 calendar days. • The project requires a Class “A” General Engineering Contractor’s License. • The successful Contractor and his Sub-Contractors will be required to possess the correct license for their project classifications, and valid City Business Licenses from the City of Delano. • All inquiries regarding the plans and specifications shall be directed to Pedro Nunez at [email protected]. • The City Council of the City reserves the right to select the schedule(s) under which the bids are to be compared, and contract(s) awarded, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities in any bid.
