Budget estimate

$200,000 – $1,200,000

The program offers up to $22 million in total funding, but individual awards are limited by the number of charging ports (e.g., $20k per Level 2 port, $37.5k per DCFC port). A typical school‑bus depot project might involve 4–10 ports, yielding a grant award between $200 k and $1 M. Including O&M contracts, software, and reporting services could raise the contractor’s total revenue to roughly $250 k–$1.2 M over the 36‑month term.
