Solicitation Waiver, Disposition of Deceased Offenders

The Nevada Department of Corrections is seeking a non-competitive contract with Giddens Memorial Chapel for the proper disposition of deceased offenders. The contract will require the vendor to provide services for the transportation and cremation of deceased offenders. The contract term is expected to be from November 12, 2025, to February 28, 2028. The estimated value of the contract is $60,000 for FY26, FY27, and FY28. • The vendor must be able to service all facilities and camps in the southern locations. • The vendor must be able to provide transportation to various coroner locations throughout the south where autopsy is required. • The vendor must be able to travel to rural facility locations. • The vendor must be able to provide cremation services. The Department of Corrections has determined that Giddens Memorial Chapel is the only vendor able to provide these services due to the rural locations of the facilities and camps.
