Water Storage Tanks and Clearwell Inspection and Cleaning

The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide a comprehensive inspection, cleaning, and evaluation of the City's water storage tanks and Clearwell. The scope of work includes tank inspection and cleaning, underwater clean out of accumulated soft silt and sediment, and written reports with photographic records. The project must be completed within 21 calendar days from the issuance of the City's Notice to Proceed. The City requires the contractor to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar work and to provide references. The contractor must also comply with all applicable insurance requirements and regulations. • The project includes inspection and cleaning of 2 MG ground storage tanks, 1 MG ground storage tank, 350,000 Gal. rectangular Clearwell, and other tanks. • The contractor must provide a schedule and sequence for each task to allow for monitoring of progress. • The City requires the contractor to have Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Insurance, Comprehensive Auto Liability Insurance, and other insurance coverage. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA, AWWA, EPA, and FDEP.
