Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Consultant Services for Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) services for SR 25 @ Darien River in Darien. The selected consultant will provide General Engineering and Design Services for the GDOT project. The scope of work includes managing the office aspects of the project, reviewing plans for constructability, attending field plan reviews, and processing progress statements, final construction reports, Construction Contract modifications, and project close-out.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Project management and coordination
• Construction inspection and testing
• Materials sampling and inspection
• Office management and administrative tasks
• Compliance monitoring and reporting
The ideal candidate will have experience in construction engineering and inspection, knowledge of GDOT-specific processes and manuals, and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, supervisors, subordinates, local officials, media, and the general public.
