notice of Intent to Sole Source Short-term Medical Second Opinion Services for OWCP

The Department of Labor intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source contract for Medical Second Opinion and Examination Services. The contract will provide services to support the adjudication of Workers' Compensation claims administered by the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs. The services are mission critical and needed to determine eligibility for compensation payments, manage claims, and process payments for allowed medical and vocational rehabilitation services. • The contract will have a period of performance consisting of one six-month base period and one six-month option period, beginning 3/28/2026. • The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. • The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 621111. • The Size Standard for this requirement is $16,000,000.00.
