Big Spring Backflow Preventer Service

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide backflow preventer services at the Big Spring facility. The contractor will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and certifying backflow preventer assemblies, as well as making repairs as needed. The contractor must provide a TCEQ certified technician to make the needed repairs. The contract will require one annual visit, which may take multiple days to accomplish. The contractor will be required to wear a contractor visitor badge and sign in with Police Services. • The contractor must provide a detailed work plan to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within 30 days of the contract being awarded. • The contractor must submit a TCEQ Form 20700 to the COR and the City of Big Spring online. • The contractor must include return visits in the cost of the contract. • The contractor must provide a certified technician to make repairs. • The contractor will be required to coordinate with the City of Big Spring for report submission.
