Description
The US Navy is soliciting proposals for a Surface Incremental Availability (SIA) in support of the USS HIGGINS (DDG-76). The repair and maintenance package of work items are included as Task Group Instruction (TGI) provided in Attachment (I). The period of performance is from 24 November 2025 to 26 December 2025, and the place of performance is Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan. Offerors must provide all information required by this solicitation no later than 31 October 2025 at 10:00 AM Japan Standard Time (JST). Key points to consider include:
* The solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan
* Firms who do not possess an active U.S. MSRA/ABR as a Prime Contractor are ineligible for award
* Offerors must specify any hazardous material in accordance with FAR 52.223-3 (Hazardous Material ID) and DFARS 252.223-7001
* Offerors must specify if they anticipate sea transportation in accordance with DFARS 252.247-7022
