Sources Sought: Monopole Tower Procurement and Base Foundation Construction (577 SWES/DIFF)

The US Air Force is seeking sources for the procurement and construction of 100-foot monopole towers and their supporting foundations at multiple military installations nationwide. The towers will be used to support the GASNT Increment 2, Block 1 system. The contractor will be responsible for geotechnical evaluations, procurement of the towers, and construction of the foundations. The primary design standard for this effort is ANSI/TIA-222 (Risk Category 4). • The contractor must provide PE-stamped drawings and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local building codes and regulations. • The contractor must ensure that all work, materials, design, and construction comply with the primary design standard. • The contractor must provide a compatible Tug-Tuff cable climbing system and all necessary mounting hardware with the tower. • The contractor must ensure that the foundation is engineered in strict accordance with ANSI/TIA-222 and ACI 318 standards.
