Description
The County of Portage Wisconsin is seeking bids for the purchase of road materials for the Highway Department in 2026. The materials include base aggregate, fractured seal coat chips, concrete sand, and other materials. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and most advantageous net unit price per item from a responsive and responsible bidder. The contract term is from the date of award to December 31, 2026.
• The County reserves the right to purchase materials outside of this contract if it is in the best interests of the County.
• The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the work.
• The County will pay the Contractor based on the unit prices bid, and the Contractor shall invoice the County for the work performed.
• The contract may be terminated by either party with 10 days' written notice.
• The Contractor shall comply with all federal and state laws, local laws, ordinances, and regulations that affect the work or its conduct.
