Bridge Rehabilitation – Parsons Avenue Bridge Replacement

The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide professional engineering services for the Parsons Avenue Bridge Replacement project. The scope includes a preliminary engineering phase to evaluate structure types, methods of construction (MOT), and retaining wall alternatives, followed by a later‑authorized detailed design phase. Work will involve bridge replacement over Norfolk Southern railroad, reconstruction of approach embankments, and retaining walls. Proposals are to be submitted electronically via Bonfire by September 30, 2026. No pre‑proposal meeting is required, but a scope‑kickoff meeting will be held shortly after the submission deadline.
