Legacy Island Phase II

The City of Fort Myers is seeking a contractor to construct Phase II of Legacy Island Park, which includes a five-slip boat dock, an overwater observation pier, two gazebos, and signage. The project aims to enhance the recreational facilities available to residents and visitors, providing safe and aesthetically pleasing structures that meet all relevant standards and regulations. Key features of the project include: • A fixed timber mooring dock with a terminal mooring platform and access dock • A fixed timber observation pier with an observation platform and access dock • Two 16' x 16' gazebos with pressure-treated roof construction and galvanized ribbed metal sheathing • Installation of thirteen signs, including interpretive signs, no fishing signs, no mooring signs, and emergency use only signs The contractor must hold the necessary licenses to do business in the State of Florida, have been in business for at least five consecutive years, and meet other mandatory minimum qualifications.
