Pupil Transportation Services

The Clare Public Schools is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide pupil transportation services for the school district. The successful contractor will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation for general education and special needs students to and from school on a daily basis, as well as for extra-curricular and athletic activities. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining the school district's bus fleet in good working condition. The contract will be for a term of three years, with the option to extend for up to two additional years. • The contractor must have experience in providing pupil transportation services for a school district of similar size and scope. • The contractor must be able to provide adequate insurance coverage to protect the interests of the contractor and the school district. • The contractor must be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must be able to provide a detailed transition and implementation plan for the transportation services. • The contractor must be able to provide a schedule indicating the wages and benefits the contractor will offer its employees and personnel under its proposal.
