Description

The St. Vrain Sanitation District is seeking bids for the IPS and UV Disinfection Upgrades 2025 project. The project includes upgrades to the existing influent pump station equipment, conversion and rehabilitation of an unused building into a new motor control center (MCC) room, and improvements to the existing UV disinfection system. The work will require a full sewage bypass of the influent pump station as well as temporary bypassing and treatment measures to maintain continuous operation of the disinfection process. • The project involves replacement of existing raw sewage pumps with new pumps and piping, modification of existing piping, and installation of new pump disconnects at the IPS. • The project also includes the conversion of the Old Headworks building into a new MCC room, including demolition of the room interior, installation of new HVAC and lighting systems, and repair of wall penetrations and other interior areas. • Additionally, the project involves the replacement of the existing Trojan UV system with a new in-kind system, replacement of existing finger weir with a new flow-controlling finger weir, and demo of existing isolation gates. • The project requires temporary bypass pumping and disinfection systems to be operational and commissioned before removal of existing UV equipment can start.
