Description

The University of Connecticut, on behalf of Connecticut Sea Grant and the U.S. EPA Long Island Sound Resilience Planning Support Program, is seeking a qualified consulting firm to update the City of New Haven Coastal Program. The work includes establishing a Project Advisory Committee, developing an EPA‑approved Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP), and delivering a full suite of technical planning services that incorporate climate‑resilience analysis, stakeholder engagement, and policy recommendations for coastal management. The contract is cost‑reimbursable, spans up to 18 months, and is funded through a pool of roughly $450 k allocated to four Connecticut projects.

Budget estimate

$35,000 – $115,000

The solicitation notes a total CT funding pool of about $450,000 for four projects, with historic award sizes ranging from $35,000 to $115,000 per project. Given the 18‑month scope that includes advisory committee coordination, QAPP development, and extensive technical deliverables, a realistic estimate for this single New Haven award is roughly $80,000, with possible variation between the lower and upper historical bounds.
