J066--PMR THERMOFISHER FREEZERS

The Department of Veteran Affairs, San Diego VA Health Care System Research Department, is seeking a comprehensive preventative maintenance and repair service for 2 -80 upright ThermoFisher freezers. The freezers are used as back-up equipment to store biological samples collected from human and animal study subjects. The contractor will be required to provide emergency services, respond to service calls within a two-hour window, and provide after-hours and weekend services as needed. The contractor will also be required to provide an electronic copy of the field service report to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) after each service call. • The contract will be for a base year with four option years. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). • The contractor must provide a capability statement that addresses their qualifications and ability to perform the work described. • The contractor must comply with security requirements, including wearing I.D. badges and facial masks while on Government property.
