The DeKalb Regional Land Bank Authority (DRLBA) is seeking qualified builders and developers to participate in the redevelopment and construction of residential and community-serving projects on properties acquired by DRLBA. The selected respondents will be placed on the DRLBA Approved Developer List and may be eligible to acquire properties released through DRLBA disposition programs. The goal of this RFQC is to pre-qualify builders and developers, organize them by experience and capacity, promote high-quality redevelopment, and support efficient development of vacant properties.
Some key points about the job and scope of work include:
• Redevelopment and construction of residential and community-serving projects
• Properties may include vacant residential lots, blighted or abandoned structures, tax-delinquent properties, and strategic redevelopment parcels
• DRLBA may issue additional solicitations for specific development opportunities as properties become available
• Respondents may apply for one or more of the following categories: Master Developer, Established Builder, Emerging/Startup Builder, Rehabilitation Specialist, Innovative or Non-Traditional Builder, and Neighborhood Commercial/Community Facility Developer
• The evaluation committee will review all submissions based on qualifications, experience and track record, and capacity to perform.
