Description
The City of Albany is seeking a Georgia‑licensed professional engineering or surveying firm to develop a subdivision plat, detailed construction‑set plans, and secure all necessary permitting for a new residential development within the Albany Medical District Housing Project. The scope includes topographic surveying, grading and storm‑water design, utility layout, street widening, sidewalks, handicap‑accessible ramps, erosion‑control plans, cost estimating, and optional assistance with bid review and construction administration. The contract will be awarded on a qualifications‑based basis under the Brooks Act, with a one‑year term (renewable annually) and a deadline of 16 Sept 2026 for sealed proposals.
• Produce subdivision plat and obtain approval from the Albany Plat Review Committee.
• Deliver full design and permitting package for 18 single‑family homes, 10 town‑home/live‑work units, alley, street widening and associated infrastructure.
• Optional services: bid assistance, construction observation, final inspection, as‑built drawings, and public presentation support.
