Tire Collection and Recycling

The City of Toledo’s Division of Urban Beautification is seeking a qualified vendor to staff, collect, haul, and recycle scrap tires generated during the 2026 Clean Toledo Events. The contractor must be a licensed/registered scrap‑tire transporter at all times, provide all labor, equipment, and disposal services, and be capable of handling 1‑3 events depending on funding. Bids are submitted electronically via PlanetBids and must include required project paperwork, insurance certificates, a child‑support affidavit, and a bid guaranty (2.5 % of the bid, minimum $40, maximum $1,800). The contract is expected to run from June 2026 through October 2026.
