Trailing Bloodhound Canine and Handler Investigative Services

The County of Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is seeking qualified vendors to provide Trailing Bloodhound Canine and Handler Investigative Services on an as-needed basis. The services will be used to support the Department’s Homicide Bureau. Vendors must meet certain minimum mandatory qualifications, including providing two references, identifying a handler and canine, and obtaining necessary certifications. The vendor’s handler must be certified in scent-specific man-trailing and first aid, and the canine must be certified in scent-specific man-trailing and up-to-date on all vaccinations.
