Description
The Alameda County Public Works Agency is seeking a Class A‑licensed contractor to install three pedestrian hybrid beacons at three high‑traffic intersections in Castro Valley. The work includes demolition of existing pavement, concrete curb and gutter, utility relocation, installation of new traffic‑signal equipment, street‑lighting, signage, and striping, all within a 90‑working‑day schedule. The contract is state‑aid funded with an engineer’s estimate of $1.33 M and requires prevailing‑wage compliance, DIR registration, and a Project Stabilization/Community Benefits Agreement.
