Description
The City of Emerson, Georgia is requesting sealed bids for the furnishing and delivery of standby power equipment associated with the Standby Power – FEMA Grant 2026 Implementation project. The scope of work includes unloading and installation of owner-supplied generators and automatic transfer switches, as well as contractor-supplied materials such as PVC conduit, electrical wiring, and mounting materials. The project is funded by FEMA and requires compliance with federal procurement standards.
• The project involves installation of one 125 kW generator, one 80 kW generator, and one 45 kW generator, as well as automatic transfer switches and other electrical equipment.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid.
• The successful bidder is required to provide both a performance bond and payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the awarded contract amount.
