The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to replace the parking garage sprinkler system at the Indianapolis location. The project involves replacing the dry sprinkler mains, which run along the columns in the center of the garage on B & C Level. The contractor will be responsible for any painting called out in the drawings and specifications. The project will begin shortly after contract award, and the contractor will need to complete submittals and badging before physical work commences. • The contractor shall provide warranty on new materials and workmanship. • The contractor shall be responsible for notifying the VA that the system is back online after the end of each shift. • The contractor can setup an area as necessary for demolition and installation during second shift work hours. • The garage will be relatively empty during second shift work hours. • The contractor shall provide photos of the interior of all control rooms with sprinkler construction access that are locked.
