Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service is seeking a contractor to provide a motor grader front blade attachment for road maintenance operations on National Forest System roads. The front blade will be operated as attached to the front of a motor grader for the purpose of pushing debris, dirt, rocks, and other obstacles as encountered during operation. The equipment shall be attached to the front of the existing motor grader with full hydraulic capabilities and mounting hardware.
The key requirements for this project include:
• Providing manufacturer product specifications that confirm compatibility with both Caterpillar 140 and Caterpillar 150 type motor graders
• Documentation demonstrating compliance with the salient characteristics identified in the scope of work
• Manufacturer warranty information
• Providing a delivery timeline
The contractor must also provide pricing for all individual line items, and the offeror’s quotation will be evaluated to determine if it is fair and reasonable.
