Passenger Information Signs Preventive Maintenance & Repair

The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide preventive maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, installation, and support services for its Passenger Information Signs. The contract will be for a period of three years. The vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all Passenger Information Signs are kept in good working order through regular preventive maintenance and comprehensive repair of all system components. The vendor will also be required to provide reporting and tracking of work activities and equipment. • The scope of work includes preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of signs. • The vendor must have at least five years of relevant work experience with similar types of maintenance and repair of digital signage. • The vendor must provide contact information for the individual designated to handle all communications and matters related to the administration of this contract. • The vendor must maintain an inventory of miscellaneous hardware and materials to maintain SORTA’s equipment in good working order. • The vendor must provide emergency contact information (names and phone numbers). Some of the key requirements for the vendor include: • Developing and maintaining an asset list including serial number, SORTA asset number, and part number. • Reprogramming equipment as needed using SORTA-provided or manufacturer templates. • Establishing a routine maintenance schedule for all sign locations. • Providing software and firmware updates. • Installing new signs as needed. • Removing and properly disposing of all debris after work is completed.
