NCSBI Applicant Fingerprinting Service

The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is seeking a vendor to provide applicant fingerprinting services for the state of North Carolina. The selected vendor will be responsible for planning, implementing, operating, maintaining, and supporting applicant fingerprinting services and related information systems. The services will include live-scan fingerprinting, fingerprint quality control, and electronic submission of fingerprints to the SBI. The vendor will also be required to provide a uniform customer service experience for citizens and organizations requesting criminal records searches. • The vendor must have experience in providing similar services to large organizations or government agencies. • The vendor must have a proven track record of providing high-quality fingerprinting services. • The vendor must have the ability to surge capacity to accommodate high-volume fingerprinting events. • The vendor must have a policy for handling late arrivals and missed appointments. • The vendor must have a plan in place for disaster recovery and business continuity. • The vendor must comply with industry accessibility standards and provide product documentation to demonstrate digital accessibility.
