100% Small Business Set-Aside for Single Girder underhung Bridge Crane

The US Army is seeking a 100% small business set-aside for a single girder underhung bridge crane. The crane must meet the Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA) class C specifications and have a twenty foot span, fifty foot length, and five ton capacity. The contractor must also include installation services, labor, travel, and lift equipment rentals for installation and load testing. The delivery location is 6375 Johnson Road, building 321, Aberdeen Proving Ground 21005, and the contractor must deliver the crane no later than 12 weeks after receipt of order. • The crane must have a 460 volt/ 3 phase motor and a bridge transversing speed of 8-80 feet per minute for variable frequency drive controls (VFD). • The crane must have a trolley transversing speed of 13-80 feet per minute for variable frequency drive controls (VFD) and a hoist speed of 2-11 feet per minute for variable frequency drive controls (VFD). • The crane must have a chain hoist certified and listed to underwriters laboratories (UL) and a hoist with variable frequency drive (VFD). • The contractor must include a one-year warranty on all equipment pieces, two-year warranty on installation labor, and five-year warranty on hoist motor. • The contractor must also include on-site operator training for shop employees.
