J041--Ice machine cleaning and sanitizing

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is conducting market research to identify potential vendors that can provide ice machine cleaning and sanitizing services. The services will be performed at the VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno, CA. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary tools, chemicals, expertise, equipment, cleaning supplies, labor, and transportation to perform quarterly cleaning and sanitizing of 19 ice machines. The contractor must have at least two years of experience in maintaining, cleaning, and repairing ice machines with similar equipment and magnitude of inventory and distribution. The period of performance will be for 5 years, starting approximately on April 1, 2026. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award. • The contractor must have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. • The contractor must provide a Contract Manager who will be responsible for the performance of this contract work and all quality control. • The contractor must provide maintenance and/or replacement of components of the ice machine to bring back to working condition within five business days. • The contractor must provide emergency maintenance services, including legionella mitigation, as needed.
