RFP - 2025 Water Master Plan Update

The City of Santa Rosa is seeking a consultant to update and develop a Water Master Plan Update (MPU) for the City's water distribution system. The selected consultant will be responsible for reviewing relevant technical and planning documents, meeting with City staff, and developing a work plan with project goals and scope. The consultant will also be required to develop a hydraulic model of the water distribution system, identify areas with unoptimized flow and pressure, and provide recommendations for operational improvements. The project is expected to last for 7 years, with the consultant providing ongoing assistance and updates to the hydraulic model as needed. Some key tasks and deliverables include: • Reviewing relevant technical and planning documents • Developing a work plan with project goals and scope • Creating a hydraulic model of the water distribution system • Identifying areas with unoptimized flow and pressure • Providing recommendations for operational improvements • Developing a Capital Improvement Plan • Creating a final Master Plan Report
