Description
The Gila Crossing Community School seeks a qualified CPA‑licensed firm to perform a comprehensive financial and compliance audit of the school’s FY 2026 financial statements and related fund accounts, in accordance with Single‑Audit requirements and BIE deadlines. The contract may be extended for up to three years, with possible renewals for FY 2027 and FY 2028. The school will direct audit scope, require detailed time‑record logs, and retain all work product copyrights upon payment.
• Conduct a full financial and compliance audit of the school’s FY ending June 30 2026, covering all fund statements.
• Must comply with Government Auditing Standards, Single‑Audit OMB Super Circular, and BIE reporting deadlines.
• Provide external quality‑control review documentation (within 3 years) and meet 80 hour CE requirements (including 24 hours governmental audit).
• Maintain professional‑liability insurance, certify independence, and allow school/DOI inspection of records and billings.
• Proposal must be submitted in sealed envelopes (5 copies) by Oct 1 2026, with a validity period of 30 days.
