Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to refurbish air handler units at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) in Nashville, TN. The contractor will be responsible for replacing coils, valves, and other components, as well as providing temporary HVAC systems during the refurbishment process. The contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and has a period of performance of 365 calendar days from the date of award.
• The contractor will refurbish five air handler units, including AHU-41, AHU-40, AHU-39, AHU-24, and AHU-4.
• The contractor will provide temporary HVAC systems during the refurbishment process.
• The contractor will replace coils, valves, and other components, and provide new pipe insulation and variable frequency drives.
• The contractor will perform test and balance of the air handler units before and after the refurbishment.
• The contractor will provide documentation and reporting, including pre-work and post-work TAB reports and photos.
