Description
The Atlanta Public Schools (APS) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide commercial kitchen equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, replacement, and related services on an as-needed basis. The contractor will be responsible for providing labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision for commercial kitchen equipment at APS facilities, including school kitchens, cafeterias, administrative buildings, athletic facilities, central kitchen, and warehouse. The scope of work includes various service categories such as refrigeration, cooking equipment, food preparation, ventilation, warewashing, serving/holding, ice machines, installation, and equipment replacement. The contractor must have at least five years of experience in providing commercial kitchen equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, replacement, and related services, and must have experience serving K-12 school districts or equivalent public or private facilities with multiple locations.
• The contractor must provide a brief history of their company and describe their experience providing commercial kitchen equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, replacement, and related services.
• The contractor must provide names of K-12 districts currently served, total years of K-12 experience, number of district clients, number of schools and facilities currently served, and school nutrition compliance experience.
• The contractor must submit a list of key employees, including their roles and responsibilities, who will support APS.
• The contractor must provide three references from organizations/K-12 school districts for which they are currently providing commercial kitchen equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, replacement, and related services.
