CDBG-DR Oakfield Palafox Stormwater Upgrades - HS005

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners is seeking bids for the CDBG-DR Oakfield Palafox Stormwater Upgrades - HS005 project. The project includes approximately 6,200 linear feet of improvements along Palafox Street, as well as associated improvements on Industrial Boulevard, Majors Road, Hancock Lane, Pacific Street, adjacent side streets, and the West Oakfield Pond facility. The proposed Phase III construction activities include roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, stormwater drainage system improvements, utility relocation and replacement, sanitary sewer system upgrades, sidewalk enhancements, and rehabilitation of the West Oakfield Pond stormwater facility. • The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program. • The project includes various line items, such as mobilization, maintenance of traffic, proposed signing and pavement marking, clearing and grubbing, and more. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable permits associated with the project, including Northwest Florida Water Management District (NWFWMD) Environmental Resource Permit requirements. • The contractor shall coordinate construction activities to minimize impacts to existing utilities, adjacent properties, roadway users, and surrounding drainage systems while maintaining safe and efficient access throughout the project corridor.
