Description
The County of Gwinnett is procuring industrial‑grade laundry equipment for its Sheriff’s Office Detention Center, including delivery, removal of existing units, installation, commissioning, training, and warranty support. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and may be split or awarded in whole.
• Equipment: 1 Braun industrial washer (model E400NEPV‑3) with “prison package”, and 3 UniMac gas dryers (model UT0170NVN) each with “prison package”. Equivalent models are allowed if they meet or exceed capacity and dimensional limits.
• Delivery & Installation: FOB Destination, freight prepaid; delivery 7 am‑3 pm Mon‑Fri; installation must be completed within 90 days of award (max 120 days). Contractor must provide its own forklift and handle site preparation, utility verification, and disposal of old equipment.
• Warranty & Service: Minimum 3‑year labor & materials warranty (≥30 days full coverage) plus 10‑year parts warranty; on‑site training for County staff; factory response ≤24 hours, warranty issue resolution ≤72 hours.
• Compliance: Must supply insurance meeting Section 8 limits, A‑M Best rating A‑7+, complete E‑Verify, Code of Ethics, Non‑Collusion certifications, and adhere to Sheriff’s Office security protocols.
