Replacement Grease Trap for Unionville Elementary School

Union County Public Schools is seeking quotes for the replacement of a grease trap at Unionville Elementary School. The scope of work includes the removal of the existing septic tank and the installation of a new 10,000-gallon septic tank, including connection to the existing 4" sewer line. The contractor must possess all required and valid licenses, certifications, and permits necessary to perform the scope of work in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The project requires the excavation and removal of the existing septic tank, as well as the disposal of any remaining contents. • The new septic tank must be of a concrete or fiberglass type, and the make and model must be submitted along with the bid. • The contractor shall ensure all work is completed in accordance with local health department, state regulations, and environmental regulations, manufacturer’s installation guidelines, and accepted industry practices. • The project includes site restoration, including backfilling and compacting the excavated area, and grading and leveling the surrounding area to existing site conditions. • The contractor must provide all equipment, materials, permits, inspections, workmanship, etc., as needed to provide a turn-key project for the installation of the new septic tank.
