KC-135R/T Unscheduled Depot Level Maintenance

The United States Air Force (USAF) is conducting market research to identify potential sources to perform KC-135R/T Depot Level Maintenance, Unscheduled Depot Level Maintenance, Modifications, and Organizational Level/Intermediate Level Maintenance. The contractor will provide maintenance services for the KC-135R/T aircraft, including depot level maintenance, field level maintenance, and contract field team support. The contractor must have the necessary expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for KC-135R/T maintenance. Some key aspects of the job include: • Performing depot level maintenance, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, engine repair, and landing gear overhaul • Providing field level maintenance, including aircraft inspections and repair • Responding to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations within a short response time • Accomplishing aircraft modifications for mission-specific requirements • Obtaining and maintaining personnel clearances and developing Operations Security (OPSEC) program plans The USAF is seeking industry feedback on areas such as security, program management, field level maintenance, depot level maintenance, and modifications to support the development of the requirement and overall strategy for this potential contract.
