Notice of Intent: Service Agreement for PRISMA 3T MRI Scanner

The National Institute of Health (NIH) is seeking a comprehensive annual service and maintenance agreement for their PRISMA 3T MRI Scanner. The agreement will include preventative maintenance, repair services, and software updates. The contractor will be required to provide a minimum of 95% guaranteed uptime, next-day delivery of replacement parts, and telephone support within 60 minutes. The contractor will also be required to provide periodic preventative maintenance visits, helium refills, and maintenance of magnet ancillary components. The contract will be awarded on a sole-source basis to Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. Key requirements include: • At least 95% guaranteed uptime • Next-day delivery of genuine Siemens ISO 9001 certified replacement parts • Telephone access to a technician within 60 minutes • Periodic preventative maintenance visits • Regular helium refills and maintenance of magnet ancillary components • Software updates and modifications • Training for the scanner operator • Upgrade of the operating platform to the Evolve AdvanceNow platform
