Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Corrections, is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive medical services to inmates. The scope of work includes providing all general and specialty health care services, mental health services, vision services, and diagnostic services. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of inmate protected health information, providing medical supplies and equipment, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The contract will be for a period of time to be determined, with the option for renewal.

• Participating in the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
• Establishing a comprehensive policy and procedure for the use of formulary and non-formulary approval

• Providing services in support of warrants, court orders, and investigations
