Dialysis Treatment Services

The Connecticut Department of Correction is seeking a contractor to provide hemodialysis services and treatment at the MacDougall Correctional Institution in Suffield, CT. The services must be provided in accordance with National Kidney Foundation guidelines, KDOQI Clinical Practical Guidelines, and CDC infection-prevention guidance. The contractor will be responsible for providing onsite hemodialysis services, including treatment and care for patients. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing hemodialysis services in accordance with National Kidney Foundation guidelines • Following KDOQI Clinical Practical Guidelines for Hemodialysis Adequacy • Adhering to CDC infection-prevention guidance for outpatient hemodialysis settings • Ensuring water quality standards for dialysis • Providing nutrition in accordance with KDOQI Nutrition in CKD guidelines The contractor must have experience in providing hemodialysis services and must be able to meet the requirements outlined in the proposal.
