Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

The Town of Nantucket is seeking a qualified responder to update its Hazard Mitigation Plan. The plan aims to assess the town's vulnerability to natural and manmade hazards, identify mitigation actions, and update the previously established coordinated process to implement, monitor, and update the plan. The selected vendor will be required to collaborate with key stakeholders, develop and implement a public engagement strategy, and establish a planning team and steering committee. The project is expected to commence within 30 days of contract award and be completed by October 15, 2027. • The plan must be prepared in accordance with the updated FEMA guidelines. • The vendor must provide regular updates and present the final product to the Board of Selectman in a public meeting. • The vendor must have experience in providing similar services in other Massachusetts municipalities. • The vendor must meet all the requirements described in the scope of services and comply with all submission requirements.
