ON-CALL BRICK DRAINAGE RUNNEL REPAIRS

The City of Charlottesville is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to perform repairs of the Downtown Mall brick drainage runnel system on an on-call basis. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to make designated repairs to the runnel system. The contractor will be paid on a lump sum basis, and will be required to provide an itemized list of all materials used, the amounts used, and their corresponding unit costs. The city reserves the right to reject the usage of any material deemed to be inconsistent with the specifications outlined in the contract. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary bonds, permits, fees, tests, and inspections. • The contractor will be required to submit a construction schedule, personnel chart, and subcontractors and suppliers list within 10 calendar days after execution of the contract. • The contractor will be required to provide a submittal schedule within 15 calendar days after execution of the contract. • The contractor will be required to secure and pay for all necessary bonds, permits, fees, tests, and inspections. • The contractor will be required to restore surrounding areas disturbed by the work and deliver any warranties and/or final documentation as required by the contract.
