Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a consultant to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for District 4 - Tifton. The scope of work includes contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for construction projects. The selected firm will be expected to provide an estimated 45 full-time employees. The project types may include new construction, widening and reconstruction, rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete pavement, bridge replacement, and resurfacing.
Some key points to consider:
• The Prime Consultant and the Team MUST be prequalified by GDOT in the area class(es) listed
• Anticipated Key Team Leaders include Construction Project Manager, Senior Inspector, Inspector I, and Bridge Inspector
• A restriction of communication is in effect for this project, and firms are not allowed to communicate about this PNA/RFQ Solicitation or scope with any staff of GDOT except for the submission of questions as instructed in the upcoming Request for Qualifications
