Health and Human Services Building Chiller Project

The Coconino County Health and Human Services Building Chiller Replacement Project involves the turnkey installation of a new HVAC chiller at the County Health and Human Services (HHS) building. The project includes the replacement of the hot water heating coil, demolition of the existing electric air-cooled chiller and two distribution pumps, and modification of the existing chilled water system to a glycol loop system. The selected contractor will be required to subcontract with Emcor to integrate the new chilled water system into the updated controls platform. • The project requires a licensed general contractor with experience in managing and installing commercial/municipal HVAC equipment. • The contractor must provide a 10% bid bond and a 100% payment and performance bond upon award. • The project has a mandatory pre-bid conference on April 21st, 2026. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local health, environmental, and safety laws, regulations, standards, and ordinances. • The contractor must provide insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, cyber liability, and workers' compensation.
