Description
The City of Birmingham is seeking a qualified firm to completely redesign its internal intranet portal and develop a companion mobile application, delivering a secure, ADA‑compliant, responsive platform that integrates with existing city business systems (Oracle ERP, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.). The effort includes full design, development, launch, training, documentation, and ongoing support for a one‑year initial term with possible renewals.
• Redesign and build a responsive intranet website with advanced search, content‑management workflow, multimedia support, and integration to Oracle ERP and other business intelligence tools.
• Create iOS and Android mobile apps mirroring intranet functionality for city employees.
• Provide post‑deployment support, staff training, security measures, ADA compliance, multilingual capability, and comprehensive documentation.
• Deliver optional advanced UI features (e.g., parallax, dark mode) and optional chatbot or AR experiences if desired.
