SBY Airport Box Hangar #28 Lease

The County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to contract for the SBY Airport Box Hangar #28 Lease. The lease is for a box-style aircraft hangar located at Salisbury Regional Airport, and the successful vendor will be responsible for storing aircraft, conducting routine maintenance, and storing aviation tools and equipment. The contract period is ten years, with two possible five-year renewal terms. The base rent is $3,000 per month, with annual adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index. • The hangar is intended for private aviation use only. • The successful vendor must be licensed to perform work in the state of Maryland. • The vendor must comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, state and local laws, and airport authority rules and regulations. • The vendor is responsible for paying a fuel flow fee of $0.14 per gallon of jet fuel or avgas pumped. • The vendor must provide certificates of insurance within ten calendar days of proposal award notification.
